As promised in the introductory post, here is a curated list of my best work, more or less in order of importance. This will be updated as I publish more. These are the pieces of which I am most proud, whether because they were comparatively well written, popular, or well thought out, it is by no means an exhaustive list of my work.
Biden’s Letter to CEO’s: How to actually lower energy prices.
What’s The Point of the Courts (plus an addendum related to the Dobbs decision): a philosophical reflection on the point of the judiciary.
Biden’s Big Blunder: Makings of a Baby Formula crisis.
The Sri Lanka Crisis: Makings of an agricultural crisis.
Reducing Methane Emissions: I write in the Dallas Morning News about what methane is, why it is leaking into the atmosphere from drilling sites, and what firms can do to prevent it.
My series analyzing the situation in Israel in the wake of the 2021 war, discussing the extent to which both sides of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict have valid points, and analyzing why Americans care so much about this particular country. (Parts one, two, three, four, and five)
The Big Tech Problem (parts one and two): On the increasing power of large tech firms in our lives: what we can and cannot do about it.
Reflections on the 4th: What does “…that all men are created equal” even mean?
Lenten Reflections: On the necessity of repentance.
Lament for Afghanistan: The tragedy of human suffering.
Abolishing property taxes: Why Texas should eliminate property taxes. (And, though this is not extensively discussed in the piece, why we should replace it with a VAT and/or an unimproved land value tax.
